Child with Denisovan Mother and Neandrathal Father
This evening, I encountered the link below which introduced me to the following conundrum: from “time out of mind” humanity has been interbreeding among physically diverse human ancestors, apparently improving the breed, until there is now only one human breed—and we’re nitpicking over skin color as a “Diversity” issue?” I wouldn’t be surprised to see skin color homogenize over the next couple of centuries. Then we’ll all look alike.
What happens when we’re all the same, physically? What excuses will we use to hate: Language? Greed? Envy? Unforgiveness? Religion vs. irreligion? Or is the hate something more fundamental. Will we discover our spiritual side and see an unbridgeable chasm, a dichotomy?
I think that might be in our future.
Think about it.
